Step-by-Step Escape Guide

1

Fix All 4 Standard Power Plants

+4 Emeralds
Four power plants are scattered around the map. Each one must be repaired by activating its generator. Fixing all four awards 1 emerald per plant (4 total). These are the first objectives you should complete each run — they're quick, give emeralds, and are required for the escape sequence.
Tips
  • Split with your team early to fix all 4 faster
  • Power plants are on the map HUD — check your mini-map
  • Each plant can be soloed with any class

2

Fix the Nuclear Reactor

+6–8 Emeralds
Located in the Tower area, the Nuclear Reactor is the biggest individual emerald payout in the game: 6–8 emeralds per run. You cannot enter it until Day 5 — the reactor doors stay locked until then. Inside, expect unique boss waves and electrical zombie mechanics.
Tips
  • Bring a gas mask before entering the nuclear zone
  • Berserker class can solo the reactor with just the mace — see the Berserker guide
  • Commander's airstrike is extremely effective inside the reactor
  • Use a teleporter if you have one set up at the reactor for fast access

3

Fix the Tower Power Plants

Required for Escape
After fixing all 4 standard power plants and the nuclear reactor, the Tower power plants must also be activated. These are inside the Tower area near the reactor. Completing them enables the escape sequence and makes the helicopter available.
Tips
  • Do these after the nuclear reactor while you're already in the Tower area
  • Your team should clear any remaining zombies in the Tower zone first

4

Escape via Helicopter

+15 Emeralds
Once all power is restored, the helicopter becomes available. Board it to escape and collect the +15 emerald escape bonus — the single largest one-time reward in the game. This marks the completion of a "full run."
Tips
  • The escape bonus stacks with every other emerald source in the same run
  • Combine with military base + raider base for 30–50+ emeralds total per run
  • All surviving teammates can board the helicopter together

Key Objective

☢️ Nuclear Reactor Tips

The reactor is the hardest and most rewarding objective. It unlocks on Day 5 — plan your run accordingly. Inside you'll face unique zombie types and a boss wave.

Berserker class is the easiest solo option — the mace's splash damage clears the reactor waves without needing a gun. Commander's airstrike is excellent for the dense zombie groups inside.

Always equip a gas mask before entering. A teleporter placed at the reactor entrance lets you fast-travel back if you die or need to restock.
