The military base sits in the far corner of the map. High threat level, dense loot, a raid boss that respawns — and the best armor in the game. Here's exactly how to get in and come out loaded.

PHASE 1

Preparation

Upgrade the generator to Level 5 (max)

The military zone is locked behind map level 5. Fuel the generator every day and prioritize fuel pickups.

Loot purple chests for the Military Keycard

The keycard drops from purple chests — luck-based. The police station is a reliable chest cluster. It dropped in the first run here.

Stock up: weapons, gas mask, heavy armor

The threat level deep in the military zone is much higher than the open map. Go equipped.

Recruit survivors before heading in

A soldier + medic team dramatically improves survivability. You can outfit them with armor too.

PHASE 2

Entering the Zone

Place a Teleporter near the military entrance before nightfall

The TP doesn't work after dark. Set it up during daytime and use it to instantly return to base if things go wrong.

Use the keycard to open the military zone

Insert the card at the entrance. This unlocks the entire military area and spawns the raid timer.

Watch for new electrical zombies

These new enemies phase-dodge when hit — they glitch sideways to avoid some attacks. Keep moving.

Clear zombies methodically — do not rush the boss area

There are zombies, snipers, and turrets scattered throughout. Clear outer zones before pushing to the reactor.

PHASE 3

Looting & The Boss

Collect the Minigun from the military tower

One of the rarest weapons in the game. It's inside the base — look for the military tower structure.

Find the Power Armor (two-piece set)

The armor pieces drop separately in different parts of the base. Worth the search — it's the best armor in the game.

Defeat the raid boss for Nuclear Fuel, 3,000 Rambo ammo, and emeralds

The boss is a raid encounter. After a time limit it respawns, so the whole team can farm the same loot cycle.

Farm the green refined scrap piles (they respawn)

The scrap piles inside the military area give 2 refined metal each and respawn infinitely. Best scrap farm in the game.

Infinite Scrap Farm

The green refined scrap piles inside the military base respawn every visit. Place a Teleporter near the reactor so you can quickly return each day. Each pile gives 2 refined metal — the most efficient scrap source in the game. Always have a TP ready.
