Scavenger class — X-ray loot detection, ammo gain, and sprint passive
Three Passive Abilities
+10% Sprint Speed
A flat sprint speed bonus that activates whenever you're at full health. No activation required — it's always on as long as you haven't taken damage. Pair with a healing strategy to keep the bonus active through fights.
+2 Ammo Per Kill
Every direct kill rewards +2 random ammo. With a flamethrower tearing through a horde, the ammo counter on the right side of your screen refills itself in real time. Makes you nearly self-sufficient with any weapon through the mid-game.
X-Ray Loot Detection
Nearby items are highlighted through walls — guns, food, gas cans, and supplies are visible before you enter any building. Speeds up looting dramatically. You know exactly which buildings are worth entering before stepping inside.
Ammo Self-Sufficiency
Grab a flamethrower and find a group of zombies. Start burning them down — and watch the ammo counter. The +2 random ammo on every kill means the flamethrower feeds itself through a horde. You enter the fight with a half-tank and exit with more than you started.
The catch: this becomes less impactful once you can craft ammo crates in the late game. At that point you can already produce whatever ammo you need. But through mid-game waves, Scavenger is the only class that never runs dry.
- Flamethrower — fast kills, rapid ammo loop
- Shotgun — high damage per kill
- SMG — burst fire, quick kill count
- Any crowd-clearing weapon works
See Through Every Wall
Approach any building and the highlights appear. You can see a pistol through the wall, a bag of chips, a gas canister. You don't have to open every door and check every shelf — you scan from outside and move on if there's nothing useful.
In a full looting run across a city block, Scavenger can clear the same area in a fraction of the time of any other class. You hit only the buildings worth hitting. The time saved compounds massively across a 100-day run — more loot, less exposure, less risk.
The community Discord called it top 3 under 500 gems when polled — and X-ray loot detection at Lv3 is a big part of why.
Class Tests
| Test | Result | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Sprint bonus activation | ✅ Active | Must be at full health |
| Ammo gain vs flamethrower horde | ✅ Self-refilling | Ammo replenishes in real time |
| X-ray loot through walls | ✅ Works | Guns, food, gas cans visible before entering |
| Knife early game | ⚠️ Weak | Replace immediately with any gun |
| Late game ammo value | ⚠️ Reduced | Ammo crates make +2 less impactful |
